FYI FOR NEW BUYERS
THIS IS A NO PET BUILDING.
Owners voted in 1978 to make ours a no pet building. Thus, VFTS became a refuge for people with allergies or aversions to animals. If you have an animal, your realtor can direct you to some lovely complexes that welcome animals. ADA Service animals are welcome only as they are trained to offer medical assistance (seeing eye, seizure warning, etc.) and are not considered pets. If the animal’s mere presence provides comfort, it is not a service animal under the ADA.
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN ALL COMMON AREAS.
Residents are permitted to smoke inside their units. However, if a resident's smoke disturbs another resident, the smoker will be expected to take mitigation measures.
UNIT OWNERS MUST BE RESIDE IN THEIR UNITS FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE IT CAN BE RENTED OUT.
We respect that some people are looking for an investment property. However, limiting rentals preserves the culture of the building and improves property values.
PARKING SPACES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF A UNIT.
Reserved parking spots are for handicapped owners only. Reserved spaces are obtained through an application process conducted by staff at the Valley Forge Towers Clubhouse.
